Our Story

In 2004, Josephine Moffett and her daughter, Lea, envisioned converting the farmhouse into a luxury Catskill Mountains Bed and Breakfast. Their dream became a reality with the opening of Catskill Maison, nestled in serene Windham Mountain, a stones throw from Hunter Mountain, Kaaterskill Falls, and Woodstock where one can indulge in countless Catskill Mountain Activities.

Our Commitment to Locally Sourced Food

We use ingredients from local farms including grass-fed, hormone-free and antibiotic-free meats and eggs from Heather Ridge Farm and JJF Farm in Jewitt. Our vegetables are supplied by RSK farm in Prattsville. We use pure New York State Maple syrup from Buck Hill Farms, and Cheese from Hapersfield Brovetto Dairy and Cheese Farm.

Westchester Magazine called Catskill Maison a “foodie heaven.” Saying ” Josephine…and Lea…are passionate foodies who draw like-minded folks. Every morning, Lea posts ingredients and their farm sources used in the making of a toothsome three-course breakfast that might well include apricot muffins with homemade apricot jam, red and yellow raspberry parfait, and pumpkin pancakes.”
